I'm back and I'm running - really running from one fashion show to an other - around Milan for a four days marathon of Men Fashion Week.
If summer has started only yesterday, we're looking forward to Summer 2014 collections. Handsome models walk down the catwalks in beautiful outfits while gorgeous and cute men walk in the "Quadrilatero" streets. I have to say it: Men Fashion Week is women's addiction, trust me!

L'APE REGINA? CRINOLINA!

When I first saw the Alexander McQueen fashion show, last October, I have thought there was something strange but fascinating in that collection. Then I read the press release and I saw one more time the outfits and I discovered what was it: the world of "Bee" - a matriarcal world in which "women" collaborate with other "women". But this fascinating world was emphasised by other elements such as the crinoline, a rigid structure that come from Marie Antoniette's era. Crinoline was the real Queen of the show: it stands out from a full skirt, under a veil of tulle, or adorns a bustier top. It gives a particular allure to the woman, walking on it. And, as always, when the past meets the present the result is enchanting! There couldn't be a best way to give a new birth to crinoline!

ONE NIGHT ONLY

Yesterday it has been a great day for Rome: after many years of absence Giorgio Armani came back to the Italian city for the opening of the Eccentrico exhibition. Re Giorgio - as we usually call one of the best Italian designers ever - organised a magnificent show in which models wore the last beautiful creations from Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, and Armani Privé collections realised by the "Maestro". The most famous Italian celebrities were invited to the event and me too, I had the possibility to participate.
So, sitted between Roberta Armani and the iconic Sophia Loren, talking with Franca Sozzani (editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia) and laughing with Rosario Fiorello (Italian actor) I had a wonderful night.
While a standing ovation for Re Giorgio closed the show.
